About Benchmark OperationsMeet Sandra J. “Sandy” Bracken. Sandy began her banking career while in college at the former First National Bank of Midwest City, now FNB-MWC. Sandy worked in operations and accounting areas of the bank, including learning to run proof on an old NCR 450 proof machine! Having worked in the operations area before the automation we have today, she was able to understand bank operations from the inside out.
Sandy’s mother used to say that she was born to be a banker. She loved the accounting side and the problem solving that was a part of every day life. To further her career, Sandy became a CPA and continued with her love of accounting and banking. Most recently, Sandy was one of the original members of First Liberty Bank in Oklahoma City. She still serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of First Liberty. In addition to her board duties at First Liberty, Sandy is also a member of the Oklahoma State Banking Board. Sandy’s interest in Policies and Procedures has intensified over the last 10 or 12 years. The regulatory environment in banking has had several twists and turns, which inspired her to hone her expertise in writing and implementing policies that promote consistency and stay up-to-date with regulations. Sandy's experience brings a modern approach to policy and risk management. Policies are a great way to educate employees, review risk exposure and become more aware of areas needed for improvement. Let Sandy show you how to get on the fast track. |
